HOW TO VOLUNTEER
Volunteer shifts are available every Monday to Sunday, 7-days a week. Volunteer shifts are from 6 am to 12 noon or 1 pm to 4 pm.  With a packed schedule, ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST ARRIVE ON TIME. When volunteers arrive late, it puts us behind schedule. This means our cats and dogs eat late, bathe late, and all the tasks for the day are thrown off schedule. For this reason, LATE ARRIVALS CAN NOT BE ACCOMMODATED.
  • Choose "Volunteer"
  • Pick your date
  • Pick your shift: 6 am to 12 noon or 1 pm to 4 pm (Volunteers are expected to work a 4 hour shift)
  • Include the names of everyone in your group.
  • Receive an email confirmation
  • MUST ARRIVE AT LEAST 15-30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULED SHIFT
  • 6AM volunteers MUST be at the pick-up point NO LATER THAN 5:30AM
  • 1 pm volunteers MUST be at the pick-up point NO LATER THAN 12:30PM
  • LATE ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE ACCOMMODATED
  • Visitors and volunteers are responsible for their own fare.
REMEMBER TO...
  • Wear comfortable shoes (no open toed shoes or flip-flops allowed)
  • Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty
  • Bring your own food and drinks
Selfies and photography are NOT allowed during your shift.

Our 600 fur kids are always grateful for their daily meals because they know it came from a place of pure love. When you do a feeding program at the sanctuary, you can choose to either feed our 600 rescues or we can work with your budget to feed as many of our animals as possible.

Please note that if you choose this program, you'll need to be at the sanctuary by 5am to prep the food. The fur kids are fed at 6am sharp.

Send us an email so we can work with you on the logistics of this program.

On behalf of our rescues, thank you for considering us.
VOLUNTEER NOW
Due to budget constraints we only have 5 staff in the shelter taking care of the 600 fur kids. Our team especially our fur kids appreciates it when their areas are cleaned as soon as possible. The earlier it finishes the more time for cuddling and walking around the sanctuary. It also means that a couple of them can go out, ride the car and help buy the supplies from the market.

Please note that when you volunteer for this program, you need to be at the shelter by 6:30am sharp.
VOLUNTEER NOW
Socializing is one of the most important and favorite activity of our fur kids. This is the time that they can walk on a leash, cuddle or play with you. Most of our 600 fur kids are affectionate and loving and craves one on one attention. Your presence in the sanctuary will be greatly appreciated by our fur kids and our team.
